Bob Sweeney- drums | |
When his Mom and Dad got tired of him beating on whatever he imagined as being a drum, they presented him with his first drum kit for Christmas while in the first grade. Bob learned drumming basics while attending Arlington High School as a member of the marching band. In turn that led to his playing congas for the school jazz band and drums for the symphonic ensemble. Bob is currently banging the drums for the Dave Sammarco Band as well as Vintage Vibe, and he brings his A game to every show! |
Jim Gildea - Bass Player | |
Jimmy G has been playing guitar and bass since high school. With a few detours along the way, he’s been playing rock, country, and reggae music in a variety of bands and projects. Jimmy spent four years playing regularly in a cover band doing mostly Beatles, Beach Boys, and other 60’s bands, doing a deep dive into the magic of Paul McCartney’s bass playing. Joining The Dave Sammarco Band he’s found a home rocking out on Dave’s original tunes and carefully curated selection of covers. Jimmy majored in History at Dartmouth College and also studied Music Theory as an undergraduate. |
